In conclusion, the emphasis is placed on the significance and implications of the theoretical conducted research, which are reflected in the need of popularization and more frequent application of integrative teaching, in function of innovating the contemporary process of education, as well as further development of pedagogical practice.Ī study on the fruit growth rate of apple cultivars Golden Delicious and Granny Smith as observed from day 5 to day 25 after petal fall revealed that a decrease in growth rate and fruit growth break can be used as a relatively reliable method for the early evaluation of natural fruit drop. In the study are presented the basic postulates of the aforementioned didactic model of teaching, it was given an overview of possible levels of integrativity, ways of organization, advantages, disadvantages, as well as the ways of its realization and degree of efficiency at all levels of education. Integrative teaching is a teaching in which the interconnection of thematically related teaching contents from more different teaching subjects is made, in order of holistic and comprehensive acquisition of knowledge and development of skills. The aim of this study is to examine and theoretically analyze integrative teaching in function of the contemporary educational process. In this sense, the idea of an integrative approach in education is being created, especially in the context of the teaching process. Mentioned aspects go beyond the framework of traditional teaching, so logical consequence is the application of innovative teaching models in contemporary education. The task of teaching, as the most organized form of learning and coaching, is reflected in the preparation students for life and the adequate acceptance and use of innovation in all spheres of life. The requirements and needs of society in terms of functionality of knowledge and development of modern competencies are being achieved by improving the education system at all levels. The modern world is characterized by constant changes and innovations in the fields of science and technology.
